- [Instructor] Part of the installation of a server operating system is to give the serve an initial basic configuration. You know, things like a name for the server or an address on the network and things of that nature. Now, some vendors will possibly have you do it as part of the initial installation and some have you do it as part of a somewhat of a post-installation task so to speak. So again, I'm demonstrating here on Windows Server 2019. If you want to see it in the world of Linux, again please go back to the beginning of this course where I referenced a number of courses where you can see how this is done in the world of Linux. But here on Windows Server 2019, it is done as part of a post-installation task.
