Run Windows Nano Server in a container

- [Instructor] Microsoft Windows 2019 Server Core edition is about four gigabytes, as we saw when we downloaded it from the Microsoft container registry. There is an even smaller version of Windows that you can use and run inside a container, and that's Microsoft Windows Nano Server. Nano Server is about 300 megabytes, roughly. And you can see how this would be a very fast, very easy option to run Windows applications inside a container, and that's exactly what it's designed for. Now, originally Nano Server was a Windows addition that you could actually download and deploy inside of your machine or install directly on a device. But recent changes mean that Nano Server is no longer able to be directly installed. It's only able to be used as a containerized version of Windows. And so, it's specifically used for .NET Core applications and other very tiny Windows applications. No longer is PowerShell Core or .NET Core included by default inside Windows Nano Server.
