From the course: Windows Server 2012 Active Directory: Management and Implementation

Welcome

- Hello, I'm Rick Trader, an instructor here at Interface Technical Training. In this video series titled Management and Implementation of Active Directory, we'll be looking at how to administrate an active directory environment from the standpoint of what are active directory objects, user objects, computer objects, group objects, and how do we administrate them in a big picture? Whether it be multiple OUs or across multiple locations inside of our organization if we're geographically dispersed. We'll be looking at how to replicate and how to force replication of those objects to get them across those site links. We'll be doing an overview of what group policies are and what we can do with group policies to manage those users and computer objects that are inside of our environment. And we'll finish up the environment looking at some of the advanced tools that we can use in Administrate Active Directory whether it be the Command Line tools, our PowerShell tools, and also our graphical tools that we have out there in our environment.
