- [Lecturer] As we get started I wanted to let you know that all of the servers and workstations that you'll see in this course are created as virtual machines on a Windows Hyper-V Server environment, but I also want to let you know that that's not significant. What is important and what I'd like you to pay special attention to as you go through this course is which services and which tools need to be run from a server and which ones can be run from a workstation, which is where you'll want to run many of these products. And finally, I'd like you to consider the amount of sensitive information that may be contained in some of the logs and some of the monitors that you'll run, and to use discretion when gathering this information and when showing the results of these tools. So let's go ahead and dive in.
