Access the built-in desktop client

- [Instructor] When you're ready to connect to a computer remotely using Remote Desktop, you'll need to choose the applicable connection client. If you're using a Windows 10 laptop or desktop PC, you'll use the one that's built in. This client is unique to Windows 10 and isn't available for cell phones or similar devices. You can access the client by searching for it from the task bar like so. I'll type Remote Desktop. And from the results, I'll make sure to select the app for Remote Desktop Connection. Make sure to select Show Options so you'll have access to all of the tabs, as well as the extra settings here at the bottom of the window. To understand how to use the client, you'll need to know about what's available under each of these tabs. The first tab, General, is where you'll input information about the computer you want to connect to. This is required to tell Windows what remote PC you want to connect to.
