- [Narrator] In this section, you'll learn the role that end users play in the Windows Autopilot Process. This will set you up nicely to see the end to end demo in the next video. During this walkthrough you'll see what happens after new devices are sent to end users. You'll learn how the Windows Autopilot deployment process is completed using mobile device management. This ensures that devices are set up, secured, and ready to use. In this scenario we'll assume the vendor has shipped the new devices directly to the end user. For existing devices an organization may arrange for the end users to receive their repurposed device. When the device is received the end user will unpack their device and power it on for the first time. The user will then complete the out of box experience or OOBE, this involves the user selecting the region, choosing their keyboard layout, and selecting if they wish to add a second keyboard to be used with the device.
