- [Instructor] Let's look at some troubleshooting steps that may help our users, be able to connect to our office VPN. I'm in the routing and remote access windows server. And if I right click on the server and go to properties, there's a few things that can make things run a little bit more smoothly. The first one is, if we go into IPv4, you may not have a DHCP server on your local area network. You may be using just static IPs, or you may be having issues with your DHCP server. If that's the case, you want to check the box for the static address pool, as I've done here. Click edit and here you can add or delete the amount of IP addresses that are available for your VPN users. If you have a DHCP server, just go ahead and select that instead.
