Configure network adapters
- [Instructor] A Network Adapter is generally located inside a computer. It enables the computer to connect to a network. There are external adapters too, and these connect to USB ports to provide connectivity. You can see all the adapters installed on your computer from Device Manager. I'll open Device Manager and show you. It's easy to search for it from the Task Bar. Let me show you all of the network adapters on my computer. You might be surprised to see multiple adapters. And you may have them for Bluetooth connections, wireless connections, and Ethernet. For now though, double click the adapter that is currently active and connected to a network. I'll choose Ethernet. You can perform several tasks here. To see if there's an updated driver available, click the Driver tab and click Update Driver. Tell Windows to search for a driver, and if one becomes available, consider installing it. You can see that the driver for this adapter is up-to-date. If you're having problems with an…
