Create a VPN
- [Instructor] A VPN or virtual private network is a type of network connection that enables users to securely connect to a remote computer or a network server using the internet as a connection medium. VPNs have build-in security and encryption technologies that enable data to be transmitted securely even when the actual network is out of the administrator's control. VPNs enable off-site and remote employees to access corporate resources from anywhere, including hotels and hotspots, without worrying about security. The connection acts and feels like the users on the enterprise's internet too. And users don't have to do anything special to connect. You can create a VPN from the network and sharing center or from settings. Before you start though, you'll need to obtain the required server information and credentials. You can get these from your network administrator or from a public VPN service. Once you have this information, you're ready to create the VPN. To do that, click Start…
