Demo: Managing servicing channels

- [Instructor] Let's drop onto our demo PC and see how to manage servicing channels. In order to assign an individual PC to a servicing channel, we'll use the settings app. In settings, I'll click update and security. And then windows update. I'll then select advanced options and at the bottom of the page, I'll select the choose when updates are installed. The dropdown allows me to select semi-annual channel targeted or semi-annual channel. Note, that this option will not be available for home edition users. If you want to receive updates at the same time as home users, you should select the semi-annual channel targeted option. However, if you want to build in a delay of up to four months then you should select the semi-annual channel.
