- [Instructor] Using the Devices area of the Microsoft 365 Business Admin center, administrators can carry out remote actions on your devices, including Windows 10 PCs, iPhones, and Android tablets. Devices can be deleted from management to stop them accessing resources or applications. For example, after an employee leaves, or if the device has been stolen or compromised, devices can be reset back to their factory default settings. Or in the case of BYOD, we can wipe only the corporate data from the device. Once a device has been enrolled, it can then be managed. When a device is no longer required, it can be removed from management. This may be because it's been lost or stolen, or because the device has been replaced by a newer model. Once a device has been deleted, it can no longer access services and resources. If an employee who's been using a corporate-owned device leaves the company, then their device needs to be reset.
