- [Narrator] Once devices have been enrolled into management, they can be managed using the online admin center. Device configuration policies and app protection policies are used to control resource access and protect corporate data. Device configuration policies manage the behavior of devices by establishing rules and requirements. Rules include settings such as enforcing passwords on devices, implementing device encryption, and restricting the versions of the operating systems that are allowed to access your corporate data. Conditional access can be used with device configuration policies to block access for devices which do not meet your policy rules. For example, if a device fails a compliance check, then one of three outcomes will take place. These include: the device can access the network, but the failure issue must be fixed later, the device may be granted restricted access, or the device can be blocked altogether.
