Establish a VPN connection
- [Instructor] Once you have a VPN connection configured, provided you know your username and password, there are many ways to connect. The easiest for most end users is to connect from the task bar. I'll click the network icon here to show you. Here's my company VPN. When you connect here, you just have the one option and that is to connect. For more options, you can connect from settings. On the task bar, type VPN and click VPN Settings in the results to see them. Here, you can connect but you can also access advanced options. Here, you can clear your sign-in information. And if you've been told by an IT administrator to input VPN proxy settings, you can do that here as well. I'll click back and we'll look at the two advanced options here. Notice, you can also opt to allow the VPN to connect over metered settings, perhaps while using a hotspot and/or use the connection while roaming.
