- [Instructor] If you're working remotely by connecting to an office PC or network server from a local personal device, it's imperative you're able to access the most up-to-date copies of your data. It's equally important that changes you make on a local device are synced with the original data. One way to make sure the syncing occurs is to use the Sync Center, part of Windows 10 The purpose of Sync Center is to do just that, synchronize your files with a network server or share so that you'll always have the most updated copies. You can open Sync Center by searching for it from the task bar, but this doesn't always work. The best way to do it is type Control Panel, open the app, and from here type Sync Center, you'll see it in the results. I've gone ahead and opened it. I have some sync partnerships already set up.
