- [Instructor] Windows Autopilot was introduced with the full creator's update, 1709, for Windows 10 and requires 1703 or later. Most versions of Windows 10 include a license to use Windows Autopilot, with the exception of Windows 10 Home. As well as Windows 10, you'll also need two additional services to use Windows Autopilot. These are, a Mobile Device Management Service, or MDM, and Azure Active Directory, also known as Azure AD. If you already have Windows 10 Pro, Pro Education, Pro for Workstations, Enterprise, or the Education version, then you will already have a license to use Windows Autopilot. You'll also need to purchase a license for a Mobile Device Management solution, such as Microsoft Intune or Microsoft 365 Device Management. Finally, you'll need to purchase a license for Azure Active Directory, P1 or P2 or purchase a service such as Azure or Office 365 which includes Azure AD.
