Manage default printers

- [Instructor] Have you noticed, especially if you switch among wireless networks often, that each time you try to print something, Windows defaults to the last printer you used? This is supposed to happen, and most home and small business users appreciate the convenience. However, if you're mobile like me, and switch among wireless networks often, you might not like this setting. You can change this behavior and take control of your printer preferences, instead of letting Windows choose. To do this, click Start, and click Settings. From here, click Devices. Click Printers and scanners and take a look at the list. On the bottom is the option to Let Windows manage my default printer. As you can see, it's selected. If you want to manage your own printers, deselect it. While you're here, take a look at the other printers available to you. If you see a printer you don't need and you want to remove it, just click it and then click Remove device. You can also choose to Manage your printer…
