- [Instructor] When you turn on a Windows computer, you start here at the sign in screen. Click on this screen. Then you'll need to type in your password or your PIN to sign into your user account. Now, you user account is where all of your files and configurations are stored. If you share a computer with another person, you might want to set up multiple user accounts. To do that, we'll need to go into Settings. So I'll go to the start menu, click on the gear button to go into Settings and then I want to go to the Accounts category. And here, we see some information about my user account, including one important thing. My account is an administrator and there are two types of users. Administrators and standard users. There're several things that administrators are allowed to do that standard users cannot.
