- [Instructor] Intune policies play an important role in Microsoft 365. When you adopt mobile device management you move away from traditional management using group policy in configuration manager. You still need to provide access to corporate data, services, and applications whilst at the same time ensuring that your data is protected and only being accessed by authorized users. With Intune, you will use policies to configure devices and data access. Within Intune there are different types of policy that we can use. These include device enrollment policies, device configuration policies, device compliance, and conditional access policies. Before a device can be enrolled into MDM or into management, it must first be allowed to be enrolled. Device enrollment policies manage which devices can be enrolled and how devices are enrolled.
