- [Instructor] Because Cloud Management does not allow us to use Group Policy, we need to use Intune policies to configure enrolled devices so they can comply corporate requirements. Policies can control access to resources, control how devices can be used, and to manage and control applications. Devices need to comply with policy to ensure that they are safe to access corporate data and services. For example, they can manage device settings, such as password requirements, and check that operation system patches have been applied. They can also lock down device functionality, such as preventing the use of the device camera and blocking copy and paste within corporate documents. And finally, they can deliver applications and VPN profiles. You need to ensure that policies managed by Intune are also not being managed by Group Policy.
