Mouse and trackpad options

- Using a modern mouse or touchpad to point and click on something is pretty standard, but most modern mice and touchpads have more functionality. First, let's see the right-click. Most mice have two buttons, one on the right, one on the left. If you have that, then clicking the button on the left is the primary click, the main action that you use to select or drag something. So for example, when I want to open the Start Menu, I point at the Start button and I click on it with the standard button on the left side of the mouse. But if I click on that same button with the right mouse button, it opens up a different menu. Clicking on the right button, activates a secondary action. Usually a menu like this, and we call this right-click. And that menu is contextual, which means you can you get a different menu depending on what you right-click on.
