Network profiles
- [Instructor] Networks come in all shapes and sizes. A network for a home user may consist of a router purchased from a big box store or one leased from an ISP, three or four computers, a shared printer, and maybe even a handful of tablets and smart phones. You can set up a new network like this one, in the network and sharing center. One way to get to this window is to click the network icon on the taskbar and then click network and internet settings. From the status tab, scroll down and click network and sharing center. Here's the option to set up a new connection or network. A network for a small business might include a single network server, a dozen workstations, and a few shared devices. A network administrator generally creates these kinds of networks. A network for a larger corporation or enterprise could consist of hundreds of computers, spread over several sub-networks, complete with all kinds of connected hardware.
