- [Instructor] Let's now call out some of the features included with Windows 10. I won't be able to list all of them but I want to call out some of the main ones. There are a lot of new features in Windows 10 which will make your users safer and much more productive. The start menu makes a welcome return following it's disappearance in Windows 8. Universal apps can be used on any device which is partly because the operating system is also universal with just one operating system for all platforms. Virtual desktops and task view improvements allow users to create new desktop environments for their apps. Then there is Cortana, which is an interactive digital assistant. Microsoft Edge is a new browser designed to cater for modern websites with Internet Explorer 11 included and used for backward compatibility for older websites. Timelines allow you to visually scroll through your Windows 10 history and Focus Assist allows you to turn off events and notifications such as when email…
