- [Instructor] Microsoft Intune lets you manage devices and apps and how they access company data or applications. To use this mobile device management solution, the devices must be first enrolled in the Intune service. When enrolling the devices into the service, it is critical that the certificate for the mobile device management platform be installed directly onto the device. This certificate is then used to communicate with the mobile device platform. There are various enrollment options that can be used for specific devices. iOS, for example, supports BYOD, or bring your own device; DEM, device enrollment manager; DEP, Apple Device Enrollment Program; and then two types of Apple Configurator, one is a USB-direct and one is not. macOS supports BYOD again, so bring your own device.
