- [Instructor] Let's take a look at some of the servicing management options available which allows you to configure additional aspects of Windows 10 updates. On the client, you can use the Settings app to manage update settings including active hours, restart options, and view update history. Active hours is a useful setting. It helps prevent any disruption to your staff whilst updates are being applied. Often during the update process, a computer may need to be restarted. To rather than have this occur during working hours, you can configure active hours to mirror your typical working day so that the computer knows when the device will be in use. Windows 10 will not automatically restart a computer during these active hours. Restart options can be used to temporarily delay an update by setting a scheduled day and time for the update to deploy. When you use restart options settings, they will override active hours settings. Let's see an example. If you set active hours between 9AM…
