Set up a printer
- [Narrator] Let's talk about setting up a printer on Windows 10. I'll be going through the process that you would use for most modern printers that connect to your computer with a USB cable. Once you have your printer plugged into power with the ink cartridges installed according to your instructions, and of course turned on, generally, all you need to do is plug the printer into your computer using the USB cable. Above all else, please refer to the instructions or a quick start guide that came with your printer. If those instructions contradict what I'm telling you here, then stick with the instructions, but that's pretty standard. I'm going to plug my printer into the computer with a USB cable. With many printers, you will see a notification like this, telling you that the computer detected new hardware and is attempting to set it up for you.
