Setting the MDM authority
- [Instructor] There are four core configurations for using Intune for mobile device management. The first one, Intune standalone, second, Intune co-management, third is mobile device management for Office 365, and then the last one is Office 365 mobile device management coexistence. Each option requires setting of the mobile device management authority within the Intune console itself. It's important to recognize that if the mobile device management authority is not set, you will not be able to manage devices. Setting the MDM authority for a new tenant is easy and requires accessing the Azure portal specifically the Intune administration console. If this has not been set previously, then an orange bar is present allowing you to access the setting page where the only option to choose is Intune MDM authority.
