- [Instructor] There are many different things that can go wrong with printing from a home office. Let's take a look at some of those, such as it won't print it all. And the fix to that may be to check the connection and swap out the cables, if needed. Check print status that it shows up as green and ready. It could be printing to the wrong port. You may be trying to print to a network printer, but you need to be printing to a USB printer. Go ahead and change the port in the printer properties. You may be using the wrong print driver. If you're using the wrong print driver, in many cases it won't print it all or it will print garbage printing, which will be unreadable. It may not print in color. Well, you could be using the wrong print driver. For instance, you may have downloaded the black and white driver for a laser printer when what you wanted was an inkjet printer driver for color.
