- [Instructor] Windows 10 Information Protection Features are used to secure data against lost, misuse and theft, both from external hackers and internal staff. Let's take a look at some of the built-in information protection features within Windows 10. The Trusted Platform Module or TPM technology has been available for several years, and it's a small chip that's found on the motherboard of most devices. A TPM chip is able to securely hold and manage cryptographic keys which Windows 10 uses in a variety of features for access control and authentication. TPM Version Two is the current specification, and this is supported by all versions of Windows 10. Let's take a quick look at the TPM settings within Windows settings. I'll click Update & Security, and then on the left hand side, Windows Security. I'll select the Device security feature, and here we can see the Security processor.
