Windows Update for Business

- [Instructor] Microsoft suggests that the deployment process for Windows as a Service includes the creation of a targeted group of computers and users that consists of and represents about 10 percent of an organization. Once that group is in place, you must then choose an option for servicing them with updates. One option is Windows Update, which we talked about in a previous movie. It's for small groups of standalone PCs. One step up from that is Windows Update for Business, which can be automated with group policies. Let's take a look at that. You can access the options in group policy from the Group Policy Editor. To get to the settings, navigate to Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, Windows Update, and finally, Windows Update for Business. You use the Manage preview build settings to enable or disable the installation of Preview Builds. I'll click Enabled, and I'll click OK. You can also choose how to work with the Preview builds.
