- [Instructor] One of the most comprehensive services is Gumroad. They're a very simple e-commerce platform that focuses on being a very easy to set up and configure service. They usually focus on digital goods and for customers who only have a few products. A good example of a store using Gumroad is Nathan Berry. He's an author among other things, and this page that we're looking at, is a longform sales page. He built this page with different technology and Gumroad handles all of the payment and the digital downloads. If you click this buy button, you'll see a pop up. Gumroad is what's controlling this pop up. You can see there's a minimalist check out, which is also controlled by Gumroad, and there's two payment options, credit card or PayPal. I could enter my payment information right now and get the book in my inbox in a few minutes, but there's nothing that you can change as a client. You're stuck with these options.
