- [Instructor] One of the most configurable platforms out there is Magento. It's open source, which lets you change anything you want, but in addition to being open source, it has a ton of options built in. If an Enterprise client asks you if something is possible on a Magento platform, the answer is almost always yes. That's because so many things are built in. In other platforms, the answer might be yes, but you will probably have to look into third party apps or extensions. The quintessential view for this is the Edit Product page. In most platforms, they make it easy to add products. In Magento, they want to give you all of the options. There are plenty of tabs and sub-tabs for you to click through to add a product in Magento. In Magento, there are a lot of required fields and they do this so they can maximize those advanced features.
