Some platforms have nothing built in, they just let you create products. And some platforms have very basic page creation abilities. Basically, everything except WooCommerce, which is built on top of WordPress, only has basic creation capabilities. I recently attended Make It Big, an online conference from BigCommerce, and they recommended using other platforms for content creation, this was pretty surprising to me. I'd rather build one system for a client that lets them publish products and content, rather than build two separate systems that don't talk to one another. But some clients really want BigCommerce or Shopify, and they have an ambitious content plan.
