- [Instructor] Headers, footers and page numbers are just three of the types of building blocks that you can add to your documents in Microsoft Word. A building block contains both text and formatting, sometimes images and other components, and you can save and reuse them so once we've created a footer, we can simply save that footer and use it again. The same thing is true with cover pages. You can create custom cover pages, use the built-in cover pages, download more cover pages from Office.com. Simply click the cover page dropdown to have information about each cover page. This one, for example, has a large photo with a title block beside an abstract and contact information. That sounds good to me, so I will choose it, and we have Kineteco Employee Manual. That information is being pulled from the Title property, your Title field of the document, and if I don't have a document subtitle, I can simply delete this.
