- [Instructor] You know, working with styles here in Microsoft Word is often associated with things like titles, headings, subheadings, and so on. But we can use styles to save a lot of time and effort when working with paragraph text as well. That's going to be the focus of this week's Word Tip. I'm using this document, Best of Landon Hotel Guide 007. If you have the exercise files, open it up and follow along with me, or use one of your own documents, so long as you have some paragraph text, like we see here on page two. Now you'll notice that the paragraphs look to be formatted consistently. That's nice. I don't like that there's no space between my heading and the paragraph. And that's probably 'cause the style that we see here for this heading, when we click in it, Heading 1, doesn't have the extra space at the end to create that gap between the heading and the next paragraph, but we can do that within our paragraph style, if we wanted to. Change things like the spacing as well…
