- [Instructor] Have you ever gone to open up a Word document and noticed that there might be more than one version of that document? Maybe it's named slightly differently, or perhaps it's the same name stored in a different location. And you're wondering, which document is the document I should be working with, and which one should be deleted? Well, there are some options here in Word for comparing documents, including side by side. That's what we're going to investigate in this week's Word tip. Now, we're going to actually work with two files. You can see I have the first one open, called Best of LH Guide version one, 025. And as we scroll through this using the scroll bar, you can see what this looks like. A table of contents, there are several pages. Check out the status bar at the bottom. Page one of eight here, and looks like 1,062 words. To compare with the other document, we need to open it up. So you can go to the Open button, Control O, or File and Open, however you like to…
