- [Instructor] I have my primary mail merge file open in Word. I have already check for errors using the Check for Errors command in the Preview Results group. We're now ready to finish our merge and combine our primary letter with records from the data source to create a personalized letter for each of the 200 people in our data source. There are two options for merging the letters. Edit Individual Documents or Print Documents. Here's how to think of this. The first choice Edit Individual Documents says, take all of these records into data source and merge them into one single file that I can then examine and print. This is a one page letter, so I will get one document for this 200 pages long. The second option says, I don't want a document to examine, send these right to the printer.
