Create and modify macros

- [Instructor] Macros allow us to automate any tasks that we do over and over again. A macro is just a series of steps and commands that we record so that we can apply them multiple times throughout a document. After watching this video, you'll know how to create, record and name macros, how to edit and rename them, and how to copy macros from one document to another document or to your normal template. Let's take a look at our macros document. You can view your macros in two different places. On the View tab over on the right, and on the Developer tab over on the left. Once you record your macros, you'll be able to see them in the Macros window. Right now, we're looking at macros that are in Word commands. If we want to see which ones are attached to our normal template, we can make that selection, and it looks like we have two, Bold and Italics. What about macros that are just in this document?
