- [Female Instructor] Now that you know how to quickly and easily apply a bullet character or a number format to your list, let's talk about how you can create your own custom bullet character. During the Word 2016 MOS exam, you may be asked to create a custom bullet using symbols or using pictures such as a logo or a photograph. You may also be asked to create a custom number format. In this video, we will review all three options so you'll be comfortable with any questions that may come up on the exam regarding custom bullets. I have the 04_04 exercise file open, so let's go ahead and get started. First, let's take a look at our numbered list. It is numbered from one all the way down through five. If I wanted to change the numbering in this list, I would simply select the numbers by clicking on them, and then right click and choose Set Numbering Value.
