Disable the start screen: Word 2016: Advanced Tips and Tricks

By default, when you launch Microsoft Word 2016, the first thing you’ll see is the Start, or Welcome, screen ("Word Document Gallery" in Word 2016 for Mac). You can use this screen to choose to start with a new blank document, from a template, or from and existing document. If you don’t use templates or if you would prefer to start with a blank document every time you open Word, then the start screen is an extra, unnecessary step. In this movie we'll see how to disable the Start screen in Word.
