- Okay, now that we know how easy it is to insert shapes and graphics, let's talk about how we can format our shapes and pictures and graphics. Did you know that you can quickly change a current shape that you have in your document from the star, like we inserted into our last document, maybe change that to a banner, for instance. Pretty cool. I'm going to show you how to do that. I'm also going to show you how you can fill a shape in, how you can use just the outline of the shape. There's some really cool effects that you can include with your shapes and pictures, and I'll show you how you can insert text right into a shape. The last thing that we'll talk about in this video is how to add alternative text. Now this is really helpful if you have a reader who is visually impaired and their computer is reading the text from your document or from the webpage to them.
