Insert headers, footers, and watermarks

- [Instructor] Information that appears at the top of every page in a document or in a document section is called a header. Information that appears at the bottom of every page is called a footer. The page number that we added in the last video is actually placed in the footer of our document. And then finally, if we have text that appears in the background of the center of the document that's a watermark. Let me show you why you might want to use each of those elements. Headers, for example, allow us to provide information about the document itself. Perhaps the company name. The same can be said of footers. We already have a page number, but if we wanted to add a footer as well let's choose insert and choose footer, and we can edit the footer we already have. This is the footer for section two, which is the footer I'd like to be able to modify. And I'm going to just change this footer.
