- When you're working with documents such as newsletters and brochures, there are time when we need to begin an article or some information on page one and then continue it to another page. We can easily do that in Word 2016 by linking texts boxes together. I'm going to show you how to create links between text boxes and then how to flow the text from one to another. And I'll also show you how to break that link. Let's go ahead and take a look at our document. We're going to be working with the "03_03 Link_Text_Boxes" document. On page one, I've created two text boxes. Right know they're totally empty. What I want to do is cut the information about us and paste it into the text boxes, that way I can apply some additional formatting to those text boxes and really make this information stand out in my document.
