- [Instructor] Now that we know how to create our tables, let's talk about how you can modify your tables to make them easier to read and also to make them look more professional. In this video we're going to talk about how to apply styles to our table. We'll then look at how we can sort the data by columns, modify our table dimensions, repeat row headings, this is really handy if you have a table that is split among several pages. If we don't repeat those row headings then users are not going to know the information that they're looking at without having to flip back to the first page. We'll also look at how easy it is to insert rows and columns using the new insert control, available in Word 2016. And last but not least, we'll talk about how you can merge cells together.
