- [Instructor] Before you send a document out to others for their review there are certain ways that you can restrict editing on that document. After watching this video you'll know how to restrict editing. I'll show you how you can turn on track changes, allow or disallow comments, and how you can protect all of these restrictions with a password. Here's our prepare document. We'll be sending this out for others to review but we want to put some restrictions on first. On the review tab, in the protect group on the right I'll click restrict editing. We'll start at the top with formatting restrictions. I can click on limit formatting to a selection of styles. And then go down to settings. And I can pick and choose what I will allow to be changed in this document. What I want to draw your attention to is the three options available under the checked styles are currently allowed.
