- [Instructor] If you're working along with me there are exercise files you can download this is the first of many files in this course that I've provided. This is called Individual Letter.docx and you'll find it in the chapter one folder. This is a file that we're going to use to learn about Mail Merge. This is a basic letter that I created to be sent to Lilah Douglas. It has some information for Lilah that is specific to Lilah for example this is an address block, Lilah's name and mailing address, that's specific to her. The date, not so much but Dear Ms Douglas, yes, that's specific to her. And later on in the letter we actually call out Lilah by name, we welcome you to share the enclosed information with your clients, Lilah, and that's specific. All the rest of this letter will be the same whether I'm sending it to Lilah or to Henry Jones or to Scott Miller it doesn't really matter they are all receiving the same…
