- [Instructor] In this week's Word Tip, we're going to explore the effective use of page numbering and some common scenarios you may run into when using automatic page numbering here in Microsoft Word. Let's work with a multi-page document called Best of Landon Hotel Guide 010. You can see from the bottom left corner, we're on Page 1 of 3, a total of three pages. If you don't have the exercise files, just open up one of your own Word documents that has at least three pages, you'll be able to follow along with me. Now looking at the bottom left corner, we know we're on page one of three. But, looking at page one, scrolling down, nowhere does it indicate what page that is. Same thing on page two and as we scroll all the way down to page three, nothing there to indicate what page that is. We know here in Microsoft Word looking at our status bar in the bottom left corner, but if you were to print this out, maybe even hand it out to people, they'd have no clue the proper order for the…
