Back up the database

- [Instructor] Now that we have a database and user set up and ready for WordPress, it is important to know how to make a backup of the database Having a good backup is like having an insurance policy for your WordPress site. If anything goes wrong, you can restore the database to a previous backed-up version. Here were are in the Control Panel for our shared hosting account. An easy tool for making a backup of the database, is called phpMyAdmin, which is located here under the Database tools. There are other ways to make backups of your database, but phpMyAdmin is very common and widely available, so we'll go ahead and use it. Here is the database that we created in the previous video. At this point, the database is empty because we have not yet installed WordPress. But that's OK because we can use any database to demonstrate how to make backups.
