- [Instructor] So let's talk about keeping WordPress user accounts that you created secure moving forward. There are some best practices to remember to ensure the security of these accounts over time. Let's be honest, not everyone needs access to your WordPress website. If you're working with a team, really consider whether or not somebody needs their own login information to the site in order to do their job. For example, a content writer or a graphic designer should probably just send you documents and files that you or a content manager can upload directly to the website. Make sure that as soon as somebody leaves your team, or leaves your company, you remove their account entirely. And you can do this pretty quickly, directly from the WordPress dashboard. Changing the password to lock them out won't always help because any user can reset their password if they want to as long as they have access to the email address…
