(upbeat electronic music) - [Instructor] To get the most out of what you're learning in this course and to give you that all important hands-on experience with the REST API, I've created challenges for you throughout the course. And here's the first one. Just a side note, this one requires some setup which will come in handy as we move forward in the course, so do the setup now for the challenge and then you don't have to do it later. Before you do the challenge, setup a WordPress site in a local dev environment on your computer using whatever tool you're comfortable with. I'm using Local by Flywheel and my site has the domain name restful.local. But you can use whatever tool you want and the domain name does not matter for the REST API. Next, populate the site with the official theme unit test data from WordPress. This is just an easy way of populating a dev site with a ton of content. It allows you to use the REST API…
