- [Instructor] Considerations for billing may sound like an odd topic for this course, but I'm bringing it up because I think it's important. Now, if you're building a membership site for yourself this may not even matter. But if you build sites for clients, you'll need to decide whether you pass costs through to your clients or have them purchase plugins and add ons directly. Let's talk about a few pros and cons of each. When you buy the plugin on behalf of your client you get immediate access, no waiting on an exchange of emails or a phone call from your client. You buy it and you're off and running. There's also no shared login, which is not the case if your client buys it and then has to share their credentials with you, so that you could download the plugin, access the license, et cetera.
